Construit entre 2002 et 2006 par l'architecte sino-américain Ieoh Ming Pei (né en 1917 à Canton), le musée de Suzhou (situé près de Shanghai, dans la province du Jiangsu) abrite des collections d'art ancien chinois.
Cet ouvrage peu courant présente de très nombreuses illustrations.
